  6.   This some kind of major update for AHelp. You might know 
  7.   that the last release was in November `97 and it was very
  8.   buggy....But I can finally present you this version with
  9.   the following improvements/changes:
  10.  
  11.   · Updated Installation script
  12.   · Updated AmigaGuide® documentation 
  13.   · new tooltype: VISUALPREFS. Set it if you use Visual Prefs
  14.     and experience problems with AHelp
  15.   · added fontsensitivity code to AHelp Preferences program
  16.   · turned MUI interface in a fully fontsensitive and resizable
  17.     gadtools GUI
  18.   · added locale.library and a german catalog aswell as the developer
  19.     files
  20.   · added nice logo to the GUI which is automatically remapped to
  21.     Workbench palette (this job is done by guigfx.library)
  22.   · relayouted the GUI
  23.   · GUI is now controllable by keyboard either
  24.   · some visual changes
  25.   · added support for HTML files (this job is done by openurl.library)
  26.   · normal documentations are now viewed with amigaguide.library instead
  27.     of Sys:Utilities/Multiview...
  28.   · alot of code optimizations
  29.   · turned listview into a little directory browser
  30.   · recoded commodity/app handler
  31.   · AHelp is now added to the Tools menu of the Workbench when it`s
  32.     iconified

  35.   If you don`t know what AHelp is good for, here`s a short description:

  37.   Let`s have a short visit to the past...

  39.   ...Commodore introduced the HELP: assign in 1992 but it seems
  40.   that they forgot to include a program which allows easy access
  41.   to the documents stored in that path...
  42.  
  43.   And now here`s AHelp. This program does this job as good as
  44.   possible. AHelp runs as a commodity fully in the background.
  45.   Simply press HELP (or an other HotKey defined by you) and a nice
  46.   GUI appears. You can select now between all documents stored
  47.   in HELP: (or a drawer of your choice).

  49.   From version 1.2 on AHelp has also some kind of little directory
  50.   browser implemented. You can browse through all the directories
  51.   on your harddisk.

  53.   Additionally there are different options you can choose
  54.   in the Prefs Program. Simply have a look at usage.
